How Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation helped Katie overcome her fears
Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation is delighted to stand centre stage and announce that registration is OPEN for our Autumn 2024 – Spring 2025 Theatre Festival. The world’s largest youth Shakespeare Festival – a fully supported programme made by teachers, for teachers - is returning to venues across the United Kingdom and we want your school to join us.
Each year, we support thousands of young people and their teachers to reimagine Shakespeare on professional theatre stages up and down the country. A project where YOU are the actors; YOU are the technicians; and YOU are the theatre-makers. The unique power of Shakespeare’s stories is in your hands. Can you see your school rising to the challenge? (Think you hate Shakespeare? We are there every step of the way to make these stories resonate with you, your young people and your community.)
You get a whole-day teacher CPD, half-day in-school workshops, a license to use our playscripts that were born out of the BBC Shakespeare: The Animated Tales, and a magical chance to perform your reimagined story on a professional theatre stage alongside other local schools. This is a unique opportunity to combine the incredible educational benefits and the exhilarating thrill of the live performance through the Festival.
